Well it looks like both Cole and Campbell are out, so that really hurts. But I'm pretty sure that was a tongue in cheek response anyway. Either that or you're going to choke on your tongue when Arsenal wins tomorrow.

How will ballack's absence affect Bayern?

    Yes, I was joking :).

    I think a 4-0 is more realistic, I have to admit :D.

Well, Ballack was out against Dortmund already (Dortmund had been unbeaten so far this year) and Bayern did not miss a beat... we are a well-oiled machine, baby :D. Frings should be able to fill in well for Ballack, as he did against Argentina. And we still have a midfield of Frings, Hargreaves, Deisler, Scholl or Frings, Hargreaves, Ze Roberto, Schweinsteiger...or whatever...all national team players...so I am not really worried about Ballack not being there.

I was in the stadium, after the 5-0, Bayern took it very easy - they could have won 10-0 that day...Dortmund was awful. Looks like their financial problems might be affecting the players after all.

Perhaps I will go watch it live tomorrow. Need to call a couple of buddies if they are here, then we might go (even though it's damn cold here right now).

    Leverkusen 3 - Liverfool 0
    Monaco 1 - PSV Eindhoven 2
    Juventus 1 - Real Madrid 2

    Chelski 1 - Barcelona 3
    Inter Milan 0 - Porto 0
    AC Milan 0 - Manchester United 2
    Lyon 1 - Werder Bremen 2

I wish the chelsea vs. barca game was on espn along with Mancester United but I'm happy I get to see my team beat AC Milan especially without Sevchenko.

    Bayern-Arsenal 2-0
    Leverkusen-Liverpool-1-1
    Monaco-PSV 1-2
    Juve-Real 2-1

    Chelsea-Barca 0-2
    Inter-Porto 2-0
    Man United AC Milan 2-1
    Lyon-Werder 1-1

I'd be very surprised to see Ruud in the starting line up tomorrow, United are just playing too well in the 4-3-2-1. Since he still hasn't even stepped on the pitch in 6 weeks, put him on the bench and use him late if we need the goal.

bayern up 1-0 after 6 minutes. doh. arsenal has pretty much controlled the game since then but not making any shots on goal.

bayern players continue to dive and roll around like pansies.

halftime bayern 1-0. not a very crisp half by either team but bayern will be pleased to go in up. they barely had possession the last 15 minutes. hopefully arsene will fire the troops up at halftime 'cause this game is definitely winnable - although an away goal would be fine.

Don't ever call other teams out for diving with the likes of Ashley Cole and Robert Pires on your team.

    2-0 Bayern:D

    EDIT: 3-0 Bayern

Are you a ManU fan? Spare me with Van Diver, Rooney, and Ronaldo.

OK, Arsenal are getting smoked now. How depressing. I went to the trouble of setting up coolstreaming so i could watch it on my pc. ARRRRGHHH. Is it happy hour yet?

Small HOPE with the away goal!!!!!!

    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

No world class team gets dominated like this though. I just am sad that Arsenal didn't play with any real confidence.

    Salute to Bayern. Good game.

And yes, it IS happy hour now.

Ever since that game at Old Trafford, Arsenal have played listless, uninspired football and looked to the ref to win them games instead of winning it themselves.

And also, the defense is pretty bad.

And pretty disturbing on the same night that inconsistent Liverpool, currently on a run of craptastic form smoked Leverkusen w/o Gerrard.

I am a United fan, but I don't complain about other teams diving, when my own team does as well. Rooney only has the one moment against Arsenal, and can hardly be considered a diver. Keane and Fergie have really gotten onto Ronaldo and he has been much better this season than last. Ruud, what can I say, the guy does go to ground way too easily, but is nothing compared to Pires, the worse diver in football.

Okay, I was sitting next to some obnoxious Arsenal fan, after I had to stand next to some UGLY DRUNK Arsenal fans in the subway on the way to the game...we were absolutely controlling those useless suckers, until they lucked out by scoring the one away goal. Still, I am absolutely convinced we can ALWAYS score one away-goal whenever we want to, and then ARSEnal would have to score 4 goals to put us away...there is NO WAY in hell that would happen.

Oh, and yes, Lehmann sucks. He was booed throughout the game and I almost managed to hit him with half a bagel. I hate that guy. He used to go to one of the clubs I went to and he was one of the stupidest, yet most arrogant assholes who ever went there.

To be fair to Arsenal, they were missing Sol Cambell.

    And Theirry Henry.
    And Patrick Vieira.
    And Robert Pires.
    And Jose Antonio Reyes.

Still, it's surprising Arsenal lost by that much. I'm wondering how Barcelona will do. Only one Dutch guy left on that team. :( Oh well, Rijkaard and Ten Cate are there... predictions?

    I'm saying 1-0 Barca.
