Against Memphis, Josh Rosen showed every tool an NFL team wants to see but he made two game-changing mistakes and UCLA lost.
Yeah, that Memphis / UCLA game was the best game of the day so far. That wideout Miller for Memphis (#3) was a ball of energy. Great day... 185 yards.
Nebraska made such a big mistake by leaving the big 12. They were pissed that Texas had so much power that they left their main rival in Oklahoma to be second fiddle to Michigan and Ohio State.
That was amazing for Florida. Got lucky after stupidly losing about 20 seconds because they didn't call a timeout.
I don't think they regret leaving the Big 12 for the Big Ten. What they should regret is hiring Mike Riley. He's a very good person but not a good head coach.
In the 1st half against Oregon, the much-hyped Josh Allen of Wyoming looked like anything but a top 3 QB prospect. He was 3/14, 13 yards and had a fumble that led to an Oregon TD. Wyoming trails 42-10 and both of their scores happened after Oregon TOs very deep in their own territory. I see why scouts drool over Allen. He has size, very good athleticism and a cannon arm. But tonight his accuracy is off and his receivers haven't done him any favors. It's been a total disaster so far against a sorry defense.
Texas Tech showing they can play some defense when it counts. ASU scored a lot, but TTU defense is much much better than last year. Last year was a disaster on defense so it's low bar.
