i think Cameron is gonna be a distraction in the clubhouse....u know the Astros clubhouse is ran tight....i.e. nevin, melusky..... if i remember right, he was kinda cocky when he played in Seattle....but I'm not sure.... I say give WT a chance, then platoon Lane/Big and Berkman once he is back will take care of the other side..... I think we should worry more about our pitching staff then a CF....
I've wondered about this myself. Purpura is nearly unequalled, according to what I've heard and read, when it comes to evaluating talent and running a scouting organization, but he is unproven as a GM. I'm not willing, personally, to say he can't negotiate deals or perform other GM specific duties well yet, but I do say, as I've said earlier, that the jury is still out.
