    I went shopping today in my new neighborhood's Kroger. Low and behold I saw my first celebrity: Phoenix Sun and Katy resident Jake Voskuhl.

    Luckily I had my digital camera on hand and was able to take a quick picture of him. I know it didn't happen unless there is proof with a pic.

    He's the closest thing to a celebrity that the Cinco Ranch Kroger had buying groceries today. Dude is LARGE.

    Yes, that pic is very similar to that on the NBA site. I guess he has that smile down.

    Celebrity is a bit of a reach :)

    And proof is a bit of a reach :)

    But if he is, I can brag then: I went to High School with him!! He was 2 years ahead of me. His brother was cool -- we had a class together my Senior year, and I ran into him at a concert last year. He said that Jake is LOVING Phoenix -- they were really professional about the trade. They flew his family down, and got them settled and everything, and have treated him very nicely down there.
