    too bad he didn't trade the 2002 first pick to Golden State for Adonyle Foyle.
    Rudy Gay is 6'9 athletic freak with shooting skills and has defensive skills. Battier who?

    Thats an EXCUSE. Noone but lebron comes in right away and causes terror.

    They didnt even give him a chance. PR damage control and CD is still looking like a moron.

    He's 19, but he was the leading scorer on a team who had 4 players drafted in the first round.

    He was All-Big East 1st team.

    He has been regarded as a top prospect since high school.

    And you trade him for a player who has REGRESSED since coming out of college and is another "old man" type.

    Exactly HOW LONG did the Rockets have to wait for Gay to become a 10 and 5 player? He could've done that RIGHT NOW. Gay is a special talent that will make teams regret passing on him. Shane Battier is Shane Battier.

    There is no excuse.
