Because everyone knows that anytime a news outlet makes a mistake it is automatically slander, per FranchiseBlade. http://blog.ryjones.org/2006/06/21/CBS+News+Accurate+As+A+3+Snubbie.aspx
lol! It is if the person's mistake involves accusing victims who were slaughtered by Nazis of committing war crimes against Nazis, and then the person tries to cover their mistake and never apologizes for it. You bet. However, most people would understand that doesn't mean every mistake is slander. I am sorry that distinction is beyond your grasp.
Factually, that's a ridiculous thing to say. People here want the terrorists to win? That's news to me.
I think it's pretty safe to say that Creepy did before he got the heave-ho. When we said it while he was here everyone acted like it wasn't possible.
Creepy never said anything close to wanting the terrorists to win. He was sympathetic to the Iranian govt. But that is a different thing.
That's pretty funny. Good catch, gwayneco! I must admit I have underestimated the pervasive ineptitude of American media/journalism, but then again, it could be intentional. You never know.
I've seen horrors... horrors that you've seen. But you have no right to call me a murderer. You have a right to kill me. You have a right to do that... but you have no right to judge me. It's impossible for words to describe what is necessary to those who do not know what horror means. Horror. Horror has a face... and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies.
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it stated in the Kick Creepy thread that on his myspace his moniker was similar to what Al Qaeda sometimes calls itself?
"Protean Enemy" is not what Al Qaeda calls itself. The term is what Jessica Stern -- a terrorism "expert" -- used in her essay to describe Al Qaeda. Aren't you guys curious to know what creepy has to say why he chose this nick for his myspace account?
You sure? I thought fundamentalist Islamic militants really loved using terms based on pagan Greek mythology....
I did my best by looking for more than half a dozen pages of google search on some variations of "protean enemy." Everyone of them has Jessica Stern's name on it.
