What size TPE is generated when a team trades away a BYC player for the TPE? Is it his full annual salary or is it half his annual salary? For the purposes of a player trade, the trading team cannot take back more than half his salary because he is BYC. If he is traded for nothing, essentially given away, for no incoming players, but perhaps a draft pick, what size TPE does the team that traded him receive? For instance, Scola or Lowry. If Morey trades one of them after December 15 for a future first round pick, what TPE does he generate with that trade?
