Cato seems to be in Rudy's doghouse.Does anyone have any info on him ? I havn't heard anything about a re-injury. I could'nt even spot him on the bench ?
Since were on the topic of disappering Big Men...Where are Hakeems minutes? I know he's been struggling to get his second wind back and all, but getting less and less minutes usually dosent get you back into shape. From what Clutch posted, Hakeem isn't having another anemia problem. I believe Ramadan isn't a factor. So can anyone tell me why Hakeem is getting less minutes as the days wear on?
Dreamshake, This is precisely what I have been saying. He needs to play to get in shape...can anyone honestly say that Pig Miller is playing better then Hakeem? NO WAY. Time to start Hakeem and also have him FINSIH the close games...Hakeem should be playing around 25-30 minutes a game by now. DaDakota
Well when Cato does finially feel 100%, i hope Rudy doesn't waste any time putting him back into the rotation. We really need his defense.
What sort of injury did Cato have anyways? And why is it taking him so long to come back from it. It just seems like people nowadays are coming back faster from torn ACLs than the Rockets are coming back from strained muscles. ------------------ I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem.
Rudy says he doesn't want HAkeem getting too gassed because that is when you pull something. Hopefully he's ready to log some serious time against Los Lagos.
Hakeem is old and out of shape. Yes, Pig has been playing better than him. As far as Cato, does anyone think Mario Elie would be on the shelf this long with a sprained wrist?
Cato was dressed on the bench with his wrist wrapped. Hakeem as a 21 yr old wife that keeps him winded apparently. TheFreak I agree. Cato doesn't have a soft shot anyhow. Just wrap the wrist heavy and get back out there. By contrast, Rogers is so miserable, the Chronicle reported he can't bare to watch games from the bench, so he's watching from the locker room.
Gentleman, easy on the playere here. With the wealth of injuries to big men, do you honestly think any of these guys are faking an injury or not coming back on purpose??? I do agree with one thing, Pig IS playing better than Hakeem. Keep in mind, Dream missed a lot of games. It will take the 37 yr old a bit longer to get his legs back. Is anyone else glad we got rid of Hambone? Peace, ------------------ HOOP-T
Freak, Mario probably would have quit if they would have brought anyone in to take his place while he was injured. My guess is that it's the coaches, not the player, who is playing it safe on this one. Why risk further, more serious injury, when our frontline is already depleted as it is? Just my guess. I don't want to compare any of our players with people like Penny Hardaway or Thomas Hamilton. I'd like to think that they are more like Carlos Rogers. ------------------ Is it any coincidence that we are the only team mentioned in the national anthem? I didn't think so!
The only thing good about hambone is he made my girlfriend laugh and enjoy the game that little bit extra. She's not much on sports, but watching hambone struggle to keep his shorts up, helped make it a fun night at the Summit.
