Kurt Thomas is a spare. We don't need other teams trash at a position that we are already over stocked.

Hell, if the Bulls can start J WIll at PG, we can start Yao at C. Just get rid of Cato and replace him with a serviceable C that can come off the bench and share 50/50 floor time with Yao, and we still have Collier as third option. Kurt Thomas and a 1st round draft choice would be good enough for me, although the $$ may need some crunching to make it work. I'd rather have serviceability now and a potential pick for next year than to have to see Cato here for the remainder of his contract.

    I can only hope.

But not for one of those horrible contracts.

    Smoothies got it right.

But the Clips won't trade Odem for Spree. That'd be like trading a bad case of the clap for a light case of herpes.

Rockets send Cato to the Knicks.

Knicks send one of their ballboys, or mascots, or cheerleaders to the Rockets.

    That would rule!

    hardeji,

That has to be the most appropriate analogy involving std's I've read on the board, and you did it with such grace...both herpes and the clap! EXCELLENT!!!

We need Cato next year. Unless we get a decent center, Cato needs to be in a rockets uni.

IMO the Rockets don't need Odom, and we should keep Cato. The only two centers I see as a possibility (albeit slim) would be either Cato and change for Magloire or Cato for Brendan Haywood of the Wizards. Other than that, leave the roster be.

i think they might consider it. think of thier offseason next year. they have to try and re-sign odom, brand, and miller. im sure they dont want that burden. why not make sure that you dont lose everyone? besides they would have a great back-court (spree and miller) to go along with a bulky front-court (kandi, brand, quin)

spree is also what the clipps need. defence, and intencity.
