Cato will be away from the club, still dealing with family matters for another few days. He will miss the trip (@Phoenix, @LALakers) entirely.
hmmm... damn. hope he overcomes this well. good wishes to Cato and fam. Hope it doesnt take away his excelent play.
Playing Shaq without Cato??? Cato can actually play some D against Oneal. Oh well, Cato's family business is more important.
yeah...after all it is only a game. I do still have the highlight reel in my head of hime rejecting shaq twice, and then on the third play taking the offensive foul from shaq...and the rocks win....i loved that game.
it will be the first game of the rocks i get to watch this season!!!! want to see lots of ming....!!! national brodcast, i can watch it now....
It looks that we'll have to use Collier against Shaq, since he has more "familarity". Seriously, Shaq will eat Ming alive right now. Without Cato, we have little chance against a lakers team with O'neal.
I think Taylor should be used at center and thomas at forward, and they should double team Shaq and smother him every time he gets the ball. Thats our best bet without Cato. All Shaq has to do is blow in Mings direction and he will fall over so thats out of the question.
I don't think Shaq will be playing this game. Especially if they realize we're without our starting C.
With or without a rusty Shaq, and with or without Cato, this game should be very winnable. I can see Francis just going nuts against whoever the Lakers throw out against him, even Kobe.
Fisher is going to feel used after this game. What the Rockets really need against the Lakers is great play from the Front court players. This would be a good time for these guys to step it up.
Great, so I guess that means that we get to see Collier start at Center for the next two games because Rudy thinks he is more "familiar" with the system but then Collier plays 5 minutes and never gets back out on the floor. Gotcha! Rudy, either start Ming or Taylor at Center. P.S. Come back soon Cato! We need you! Chris
If Francis "going nuts" means he and Kobe play a game of "first one to 47 shots wins" then I disagree with your statement about the LA game being winnable. If he gets his teammates involved and waits until Q4 before taking over (as he did against Portland), then I agree.
"I just want it (scoring so much) to stop," Francis said. "Or maybe not to stop, but for some reason, it seems everybody thinks I'm trying to go out and score. I am not trying to score 30 points. It just happens. "We've got so many weapons. Coming into this season, one thing I thought about was how many guys we have that can score. Now is the time to get those guys the ball as they slowly get healthy, but also not turn anything down. For me, I don't want to hold back on what I've been working on. "Hopefully, it will balance out more. You never know, but I hope that it does." --Steve Francis http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45382 I think that says it all. He will make good decisions. Sometimes that means he has to shoot, and sometimes that means he'll pass the ball. However, he will always take over the game when the Rockets need him to.
