I am a little bit suprised at how Jacobson is mentioned as a 2nd rounder. Granted he might not be quite as good but I think the two are pretty darn close. I'd love to see the Rockets get him int he 2nd round, assuming he stays in the draft.
Does anyone have any information on why his draft position is so low?

The two?? Who are you comparing him to?

Jacobsen will probably be destined to be a bench guy, role player type.

I think he is talking about mike dunleavy.

The difference between the two is the dunleavy is 3-4 inches taller and a little bit more athletic. Jacobsen, at 6-5, is stuck having to play the two guard. He will have trouble guarding nba 2's and will also have trouble creating shots for himself. There might not be too much difference between the two as college juniors, but m dun's game translates much better to the nba game. Plus he has a much higher upside. Casey will find a spot in the league cause you always need good shooters, but it's questionable if he's worth a 1st round pick.

If we had an extra late first, I wouldn't mind Jacobsen. He's a good shooter/scorer, the type of guy useful for coming off the bench like a Lucious Harris-type.

However, he's not the type of guy I'd want to use to backup Mobley, and unless we fill our holes other ways, we don't need to go out of our way for a utility shooter. Because of the amount of time Mobley plays, and the fact that Francis plays a good deal of 2, I'd prefer to get a 3rd string PG type like Logan, Taylor, or Maddox, than a backup PG.

I hope he never gets drafted. I don't like the guy at all.

Jacobson? Whats the difference between him and Matt Bullard, Chirs Jent, Dave Jamerson? Casey can shoot but so can alot of people. We don't really need another defensive liability out there.
