Him being 23 just gives me the feeling he won't be another damn project. Projects are the last thing we need. Get Butler - have you seen him play? He has all the confidence in the world, plays hard, and plays mature. He's a perfect fit for this team. Perfect. Apparently he's rededicated his life since his early travails, so let's give him a little slack. There is only one problem with Caron Butler: It is unlikely he will last past #4 (JW, Ming, Woods, Butler). He'll impress during his team workouts. We might have to trade up if we really want him, depending on how the (lotto) balls drop. I didn't see UConn in the NCAA but the more I read/hear about Caron Butler, the more I think we should grab him. Unless we get Yao Ming. But, even then...
