This thread is pretty on point with the premise that if We're ALL IN ..... we need to go ALL IN MELO would be an all in play that lets CP3 know that this is not LAC management.... as a matter of fact I believe the reason Maurie traded the players for CP3 is becuz he consulted Harden and CP3 on Anderson and they would rather have that spacing than Lou and dekker etc...
As long as we have a chance against Golden State who cares if we get gentleman swept by the Warriors?
On behalf of me, CP3, and the rest of the organization gtfo with that loser ass, participation award having, let's settle for bronze loser ass mentality. We are on the first of losing a probable super team. It's time to put our balls on the table
You just said what I said. I never said we wouldn't be a much better team with Melo. I said if it came down to Melo vs Milsap, choosing Melo would make us a more popular team but a better team with Milsap. Don't get me wrong. I would love Melo on this team. If I had to choose between the two though, I would choose Milsap.
That makes no sense. We don't have space to sign Redick, get realistic. We have to hold on to Gordon or else we have no bench.
Oh you really do think the Rockets have a realistic shot at getting Melo with the pieces we have? I just see it happening man, I think its more of a realistic shot to get Bosh here over getting Melo with what we're willing to offer. And Bosh is on blood thinners for life trying to play a contact sport at the level he's capable of playing. I'm all for trying to get Melo but the Knicks don't have a real thirst to trade him with Jackson gone, IMO.
