I thought Swift was a dunker. He turned out to be a chucker. The guy is soft. He's wasted his 6'9 frame.

nah, i dont think so. Carl has been getting a lot of weakside blocks, but i think that's going to slow down some as teams start looking out for him. After that one fake and he's gone, sincehe jumps with all his power for one attempt. We were hoping someone like Swift would be blocking shots more center-like, and intimidate players. I dont think any player is scared of shooting over Landry.

fixed. Whatever happened to Mcroberts anyway? I thought he'd have a good career as backup C/F...

Agreed totally. After the Dallas series, where our lack of youth and athleticism was exposed, we thought we hit the motherload signing one of the most athletic players in the league. As it turns out, it takes those things you just listed to be a good basketball player and not just having mad leaping ability.

I highly doubt he's 6'9. He looked shorter than Tracy in every shot I've seen them together.

Derek Anderson won a ring, though.

    1) THe guy that started this thread can barely type English

    2) He is not suggesting that Stro is better than Carl, he is saying that this is what we had all expected from Stro that we didn't get.

Back when we signed him, a lot of us expected Swift to be even better than today's Landry. A multiple All Star in the making.

    Boy, were we wrong.

Can't believe we paid him almost the same amount we're paying for both Landry and Scola.
