FYI, kiddos, I didn't tick anyone off. This was done either at work or at my girls house on the street. Very telling about the people who responded with this nugget of advice. I'll assume this is how y'all deal with someone pissing you off.
what hicklander said. I would check with an insurance agent about vandalism claims and their effect on your premium before considering claiming it on your insurance policy (if you can't wax/buff it out). That sucks. Some people are just spineless bastards
I may be missing the reference to something, but there are some very similar stuff in your MySpace and his blog. Again, I'm not trying to stir things up I swear, I'm more upset that I'm missing a movie reference or something. Or it could be an inside joke among conservatives.
Nah. He wrote that a while ago as a ruse for a dating site. I asked if he minded if I used it, and he didn't have a problem with it, so there it is.
Fatty iz you back with the girl that you went weepie on a month back? The one that wanted you to stop smoking?
Sucks, fatty. Sorry to hear that. I got a new vehicle about a year and a half ago. I had it about two days before it got keyed in the parking garage of our apartment! Not just a little mark, either. They put about a 2 to 3 ft horizontal scratch on BOTH sides of the car! I was pissed, but also just disappointed that someone would do something like that. Don't know any particular reason for it, either. Oh well, live can just be like that sometimes. i'm sure it could've been worse.
I'm an insurance agent. I can tell you if you made a claim on your insurance it would be a comprehensive claim and most of the times, those don't affect your rates. However, some companies will penalize you if you have multiple comprehensive claim. Considering the fact that this is probably not worth $500 which is the norm on comprehensive deductibles (although I usually write customers with 250 for stuff like this because it's not that much more expensive), he could get a buff job and do it himself. When my wife was hit by another car, it left some paint. I went to autozone and asked what I should buy. They told me the stuff and it worked great.
Update: I'm getting severely pissed off. Since I started this thread, my car has been keyed twice more. So now, I'm pretty sure I know who it could be, since I haven't been going out much anymore, so my car is either in my garage, my girls place, or at work. It isn't happening at my work, because I go out to my car often enough to have seen it there. The problem is that my parking garage at my place is dimly lit, so you really don't see it there. My guess is that it is the douche that parks next to me in my garage. Over a year ago, he tried to sue me because he thought I dented his car. I pointed out that my car didn't have any scratches on it, and didn't even line up where he had his dent, so he dropped it. But here we have three freaking keyed marks on my car. Anyone know if I can catch him? We don't have surveilance in my garage. Nothing is more chicken **** than keying someone's car.
don't do this unless the scratch is deep. Like really deep and clean like the grand canyon. If it does look like this (it was a very sharp key) then they can easily lay in the paint and color sand it. If not it will look like a streak of off color running down your car. Who keys a freaking Audi?
If it is that big of a problem get the paint fixed then get a locking car cover. If it is at home then you would only need to put it on at night and it would be extra security from theft also.
Agreed. While visiting a friend in MidTown about a month ago, some douche keyed the hood of my Z. It wasn't deep, I researched and found some touch up wax and buffed it and it's now it's fixed, but still...anyone who keys a mans ride is a straight up douche.
