As I was walking out of the best buy at gulfgate, i noticed abc 13 copter flying overhead just south of the loop. i couldn't really tell what was going on but i was driving that way anyways. i was approaching the loop out of the parking lot when black smoke starting rising in the air. as i got closer i could clearly see it was a car on fire. it got me thinking, how did abc 13 get there so fast? they were there before there was any smoke. i'm just speculating, but maybe someone called it in prior to setting it on fire or witnessed something. anyhow, there haven't been any official reports on abc's website or local tv news yet. just thought i'd share.
Did you get caught in the HOV lane when a freaking car broke down between 5 and 6 pm? ******* was driving alone too, and he didn't have the foresight to move his car to the side as the engine died.
I was going south bound when I saw it. I was hoping it would clear out by the time I headed back. I was wrong. I am stuck in it right now as I type. Damn you valentine's day!!
So that is what happened. I had just stop to pick up some Mexican eats from Taqueria Del Sol during that time. I hope no one was hurt.
