It's actually lost 9 of 10 after this 128-84 loss to Toronto. Nice 44 point beatdown tonight. Dwight is -79 in plus/minus over the last 10 games.
Sure would like to see this chart include shooting fouls and be a points per possession defended at the rim chart. Gobert looks great but he gets called for a lot of shooting fouls that turn into points at the free throw line. Points per possession including shooting fouls and free throw points would tell a truer story on rim defense. Is there any way you can do that?
The dotted line on this chart is completely meaningless. First off if it's a trendline like I think it is then it's a pretty poor one with a low R2 and some late skewing high on the blocks/36 region. Secondly, as far as takeaways from this graph, your ideal player is at the bottom right, so like other dot plots of this sort involving NBA players you'd want to divide it into quadrants, not halves.
Blocked shots are really irrelevant to since they are counted in FG%. What would help is if the chart showed points per possession defended at the rim and included shooting fouls and free throws.
its not the fact that dwight is past his prime, i could live with him having a few off days, its the fact that when this team was going through losing streaks last year, dwight was still smiling and joking like everything was allright. Thats gotta be annoying to play with. Notice this year after a loss we got a serious faces on, and we take care of business.. The hawks are dealing with the dwightmare now
Too many freaking and-1s down the stretch given by Clint. His rotation is too slow and he needs to just go up and down.
Clint pretty much took Dwight to school one-on-one down low offensively. Dwight had easy dunks due to Capela helping on defense thanks to Anderson's absolutely woeful attempts that easily were broken down causing the rest to scramble. Howard had a few put backs after Clint had to help on the penetration of others. Nothing about this game made me wish Dwight was here. His salary and output vs Capela's salary and output. Clint all day every day. Except maybe for those calls down the stretch where you can hit someone across the head.
Capela basically matched him with points. Dwight rode Hardaway's coattails tonight. Shameful freaking loss
His stupid salary also wouldn't allow Morey any salary cap flexibility to sign good players to improve the team. And his toxic attitude and complaining about touches would've disrupted our offense, still ranked in the top 3.
