I have a canon XL1 and I've heard that they came out with the XL2 now. I'm lazy and don't want to research the differences. I'm not asking anyone to go out of their way, but does anyone know the differences between the two off hand? Thanks.

Well without doing research for you, the numbers are different - one's got a 1 and the other's got a 2, that's about all I can see.

Quit being lazy - do the research. :)

One would think that someone with a four thousand dollar camcorder would have done some research.

The XL2 has 24p capability. That's really the biggest difference.

Thanks for the links and advice. I took it to heart and tried to find out exactly what 24P was. Lots of interesting stuff. Thanks again.
