Almost every girl I've met/known.....do NOT know how to cook. Is it just an asian thing or in general?

So much for trying to abolish stereotypes. :D Yeah, it's an ASIAN thing. ;)

Yeah, girls now days can't cook. If they do it's some horsecrap instant food. Girls now days are more concerned about their "career". As long my future wife makes six figures that's fine with me. But they gotta do SOMETHING ;) :D

My girlfriend doesn't cook, but I do and not only am I good at it, I like it. My dad did all the cooking when I was growing up even though my mom is a fantastic cook. My dad is just as good and loves to cook.

So, I could care less if the girl I date can cook or not. What is this, the 50's?

I used to get annoyed when girls I went out with couldn't cook. Then I learned to cook from my mom. Now it doesn't really bother me, since I can cook myself. Self Reliance. Thoreau. Good book.

Mine cooks okay. Not as good as my mom but she tries...and that's all I can really ask for.

My Mom couldn't cook at all when I was growing up. My wife can cook a few things really well, but she doesn't really care to expand her range of dishes very often.

Of course, until about 18 months ago, I had lived alone for over ten years, so I learned to cook a few things and found that I enjoy cooking. So, more often than not, I'm the one who cooks in our household.

I microwaved some ramen noodles for my man today while he watched football.

    I'm proud of myself.

I have no problems with gender role reversals. I cook and my girlfriend doesn't. This is a good thing.

Not only is "cooking" Ramen Noodles NOT cooking, but... Microwaved? Ultimate NON-COOKING girlfriend, moes. Nothing wrong with that, though... amore vincit omnia.

Jeff, you are now the #1 reason I would never EVER allow my wife to find out about this forum.

Now, if you will excuse me, I'm going back to my cave.

Mine can cook, but I would rather her be proficient at cleaning.

I have a microwave for cooking, but I don't have a fellatio machine.

So, you tell me - what's important here?

A fellatio machine? That sounds like it could make some money, like in Japan or somewhere.

You wouldnt have to feel ashamed for yourself or anyone else after either, which is a bonus.

My Indian girl does not know how to cook, but I do. Cooking is easy, you just throw oil, meat, rice, and vegetables together and cook.
