I have an Olympus Camedia D-550 ZOOM 3 Megapixel digital camera, and I have a small problem. Like usual, someone was dicking around with my stuff and screwed it up. So anyway, I was looking through some pictures that have been taken within the last week and notice that the middle of the picture is blurry. I check the camera and, what do ya know, theres a big ****ing fingerprint mark on the camera lens. My question is what should I use to clean off the lens? Do I need to get something special and if so, where can I get it. Thanks in advance.
You can get some lens cleaning paper at any photo shop...I usually just use my breath as moisture then wipe it off.
$5 at Ritz will get you a washable microfibre cloth that is designed for lens cleaning. It's a worthy investment as lenses are coated, and more people than you would think mess them up by cleaning them with stuff they shouldn't be using.
not like it needs repeating, but you should use stuff designed especially for lens cleaning. and btw, thats the exact same model I have.. How do you like it?
... dang... and here I've been using my t-shirt. Can't you just go to Best Buy and get one of those lens cleaning packets? Or do they suck?
I love it. My only complaint is that my friend has a 3.2 megapixel elph and its like a fourth of the size. I would carry it everywhere if it wasnt so big.
