Correction: 9 TD's 10 INT's Although I must admit I have a personal bias against McCoy and the whole McCoy family gang. Terrible, terrible people...
At the same time, about 95% of the players you latch on to that others "hammer" you about end up failing and it's still early for Colt McCoy. We'll see if he's one of the 5%. I'm still not convinced.
Not true, most of the players I latch on to have fine careers, people just latch onto a few that I like that don't...and hammer it into the ground. DD
Every time he threw deep, I would cringe. I'm a big VY fan, but every deep ball is just up for grabs. Though his head is why he isn't the starting QB in Nashville anymore.
Cams accuracy problems have more to do with his obsession of being young with a strong arm...Most rookies QB's tend to try a fit a throw through a keyhole...Veteran Qb's pick their spots when to try and make that throw (excluding Cutler and Favre)... Accuracy has more to do with timing than his arm strength(M.Stafford is just a beast)...This is why Sam Bradford and Matt Stafford have All-Pro potential... A playoff birth for either will propel them into the argument of the top 10 best Qbs.... Once Cam starts understanding how to slow down and go through his progressions, he'll be in elite status (playoffs too)
I've mentioned it here before my girlfriend is from the same little town as the McCoys (Tuscola, TX), and went to Jim Ned HS the same time as the younger McCoys. Besides the younger ones just being plain douchebags, the father did some shady stuff for their football team...
I knew someone who just looked at the stats would post this. There was a freaking hurricane out there.
He's got some clunkers coming but throw this one out. It's been a while since I've seen weather like that for an NFL game.
