Avery Johnson had no experience. JVG has a ton of experience but has acomplished nothing in his career. They need a new, fresh coach.

To Avery's credit he did have a couple of years tenure as assistant coach. I'm not even sure what Calvin's doing nowadays...

I saw Calvin Murphy on a plane coming back to houston from nyc a couple of weeks ago. I asked him what he thought of the rockets chances this year, and he said, and i quote, "I dont follow the rockets anymore!"

Man, that really depresses me. Calvin's enthusiasm was always so infectious.

For the younger members / newer Rockets fans, Calvin Murphy, aka, the Pocket Rocket, is a warm, happy-go-lucky sort -- except when he's playing basketball. Make no mistake, he was deadly serious when playing the game. He took no guff and gave no quarter. He played with heart AND intelligence. I think he would a heckuva good coach if we can't get a known commodity like Rick Adelman.

Les was all over this move... I know first-hand from his minions (people who do all the work for him).

They couldn't get past his fathering of children with multiple wives... even though he was found innocent of the molestation charges. IMO, it wasn't even as bad as what Marv Albert actually got convicted for (and admitted).

    Dumb Rockets.

The Rockets are paying for the bad karma generated by the organizational ill will toward one of the Rockets' greatest players, Calvin Murphy.

Les, if you won't put him on the air, put him on the bench.
