I may be a loner on this one,but IMHO I think Calvin Murphy would make a good assistant coach.he makes some very valid points during his broadcasts and with his hall of fame background,I believe he would get the upmost respect from the young guns.
His knowledge of the game is very astute and I believe he has a "been there done that" mentality and could be be very valuable as far as helping the young guys along.........any thoughts??

    "You know, Bill, it's intresting....."

    not interesting..."intresting".

that said, i'm not completely opposed to the idea.

I would be in favor of this if Calvin could teach our players how to shoot free throws. The Rockets cannot hit the broad side of a barn with a hand grenade from the free throw line!!!!!

I thougth the Rox shot pretty well from the free throw line against the Raptors.

Anyway, on the topic of discussion, I would love to have Murph as an assitant coach. He is loud and can seriously motivate and help our players out.

Question: What makes ya'll think he doesn't spend a great deal of unofficial and official time with several players already?

    Answer: He does.
