Does anyone else think it's friggin hilarious that all the contenders seem to be from California (Kings, Lakers) and Texas (Mavericks, Spurs, Rockets)? It just seems unfair to all the other states. Yeah, I know. This is really random. Sorry.
it is great that Houston is beginning to become one of the elite teams in the nba. i just love it. i voted for california
I'll stay out on the limb I've been on for a while now, I pick the Blazers to go all the way. If not the Rockets, but if my wish upon a star does not come through, I like the Kings, hate the Lakers, and lost a great deal of respect for Dallas.
You lost a great deal of respect for Dallas yet you think the Blazers are going to win it all? What kind of logic is that?
I think that the Blazers are going to win it all and I if not I feel that the Rockets are going to win it all. I only feel this way because I support my team, and I really hate the Lakers and would be happy if anyone except them won. Since this is Pippen's last year, I'm really pulling for the Blazers to win it all.
It looks like a Queens/Lakers WC finals again. Houston is the dark horse... They could go either way out of inexperience. The Mavs and Spurs haven't found their groove against the Lakers or Kings in a 7 game series. I think I'm stating the obvious...
Considering that 7 of the 14 teams from the Western Conference are from Texas or California, it's really not that big a deal.
