I loved DirecTv until it quit working for me. Customer Service wasn't helpful, until the final month of my contract when I called to cancel. I have Cox Cable now. AT&T internet was just plain awful. My internet would go out every time it rained. The customer service people would keep telling me the internet was working fine, when it was constantly going out. They had a guy come out and fix it after months of calling. Rain still caused the connection to go out. Never got anywhere near the 3Mbps speed I was paying for.

I hate Cox, but I had to make the switch. At least they have better customer service.

The only problem I have with it is the slow reception between remote/dvr.

I live in Houston, I just tested on that server because for some reason Houston isn't listed.

As far as Internet, Comcast all the way.
TV, it's up to you really. Comcast is expensive but I never have issues. Uverse would probably be the way to go for TV but I think you have to bundle it with Internet. I'm not sure.
