I was at that game such a sad moment.... That looked like it hurt alot, sucks for someone to go down like that...
It looks to be the same exact way Tom Brady got injured. My money is on torn ACL. I'm sure the Lakers had an idea right afterwards. Like someone said, with a torn ACL, you might feel like you can play again, but if you try to back pedal, you realize it's something more.

at least its not a collasped lung and broken ribs. Its not a career ending injury so why should we care about this guy, the Lakers and the rest of our competition didn't give a **** when Yao went down.
See you & raise you... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EqP3wT5lpa4&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EqP3wT5lpa4&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I like Bynum and obviously hope he's alright. There's nothing I hate more in basketball than wasted talent and potential. It's great to hear he's optimistic he'll be alright. Still, the Lakers can still make a deep playoff run without him. Gasol proved last year he's the difference between a one-and-done pretender and an NBA Finals team. P.S. Kobe finds a new way to submarine the Lakers? Go figure!
I agree with you. It will be tough for the Lakers to stay in 1st place in the West without Bynum, especially if they find out he's gone for the year. How well they do will depend a lot on Odom. Odom can easily step in to fill the gap but they will sink like a stone if plays like a space cadet.
That was eerily similar to Yao's injury. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Sb0UVETopWs&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Sb0UVETopWs&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Out for 8 weeks minimum because of dislocated knee cap and bone bruise, so not as serious as originally though. Move along. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3196420
the same can be said of Rox's inability to advance past the 1st round, despite having 2 all-stars on the roster.
i think the Lakers will keep Odom w the 2nd unit; at least, in the scenario, LM plays w a little more consistency. that way, The Lakers 2nd unit will continue to be the deepest in the league and they will use Mihm, Mbenga and Powell more
Yeah those are the league's fav teams. I hate those teams, because they get more than needed media attention. Even if Rockets won 10 championships Lakers, Celtics or Knicks would get so much attention.
This just reminds of when Sir Charles completely blew out his knee and did not flinch, scream, rollover, nothin...just waited to hear his career was over... Charles was one badass mofo... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lw6dCKwKvRA&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lw6dCKwKvRA&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
When do the results come out? I am not a doctor but I play one on this BBS...I am guessing a tear of some kind in his ligaments. DD
