They are just suspending this season, will reopen back in 2010. The AFL has a strong fan base. You don't last for 23 seasons by luck.
Yeah, the league is not "officially" done yet. But really, who knows if they're actually going to be able to come back or not.

Nope, I went to a couple Desperado games here in Dallas and it's was just constant scoring, got tired of standing up and cheering for each score, was kind of silly but still sad to see it go.
I appreciate your ownage of me. Apparently the UFL is trying to compete with the NFL in the fall, while the AAFL & New USFL are trying to have leagues in the Spring. I thought there was only one new league.
