I am worried Franicis, and Jackson are gonna burn out by the end of the season.

Jim Jackson at age 33 playing close to 40 minutes a night is not very smart.

It seems like lately Steve is playing like the entire game.

The 8 man rotation is good in the playoffs but not in the reular season

Pike and Griffin have to step up their play

acreed steve needs to rest for if/when (hoping for when) we make the playoffs trouble is MJ who is able to D up the way JVG would like in order to keep opposing gaurds from driving into Yao and the other post players.

I've been saying for a while, JVG's lack of rotation is going to take it's toll late in the season. I know he doesn't have much choice when playing backup PGs and SGs, but playing entire games at a time will make even the best athlete tired.

I think JVG has no choice but to keep it burning as it is the benchmark year for Rockets. There is a hell of competition in the west.

may be that's his strategy, make steve and mobley tired and they will play a more controlled game in playoff and defer to Yao more like last night against Lakers.

You're making it sound like playoffs is a lock.

Actually, getting into playoffs IS the mission this season. And Rox are still not even assured of 8th place.

It doesn't matter whether we loose the first round by 0-4 or 3-4. First let's just make sure that we get into it.

That's an interesting theory but it seems it could just as easily backfire if Francis and Mobley are too tired to effectively get the ball down the court and make good passes.

    Yup.:(
I bet on we're gonna take its toll in the playoffs if JVG remain unwise with 8-9 man rotation. It's a good time adjusted during the last ten-day of Feb, i think. Hope not...:(

So are the lakers, the mavs, the T-wolves, and the Kings, and the pacers, and the nets. The rockets are in 6th postion and for all i care, that is a playoff seed.

it also can backfire, and francis will not be able to perform and and play like his all-star slef. Remeber its not all about yao. We have 3 other good players. One of theose three others is considered a all-star. And in the playoffs we need him, becasue what will happen when the temp of the game becomes fast. Yao will not be able to handle it. Then it is our backcourts jub to take over.
