    Full disclosure - I let my 7 year olds watch this a few weeks ago. They loved it.

    Pretty sure that's about how old I was when I first saw it, and I turned out okay (debatable).

    I saw the 40th anniversary re-release in the theater. Movie was still great. Down side were some knuckle heads the felt the need to quote most movie.

    Just rewatched it when Burt Reynolds died. I still love this movie just like I did when I saw it in the theater in 1977.
