Do they have their own TV station(s) or do they just get Houston channels. Are there any purely local TV stations?
They have their own stations. With cable, you get the Rockets games carried on Fox Sports, plus they pick up a lot of the other Rockets games on some of the "access" channels as well. I don't ever remember missing very many Rockets games while I was living there. I also think one of the networks serves all of the Brazos valley and there may be one out of Waco as well. As I try to stretch my memory back they may pick up a couple of Houston stations as well.
