To add a little more substance to this thread, let's do a strengths/weaknesses comparison.

    Luther Head

    Strengths:
    1. Great spot-up 3pt shooter
    2. Very coachable, disciplined, tries to play within the team concept
    3. That backdoor cut he uses judiciously after passing into the post

    Weaknesses:
    1. Undersized SG, PG body type but can't play PG
    2. Poor overall passing skills (he is decent at passing into the post but makes his share of blunders there, too)
    3. Very poor at creating his own shot and driving to the basket (not talking about the backdoor cuts w/out the ball that he is very good at)
    4. Poor at finishing fast breaks (I've seen too many David Wesley type finishes here)
    5. Non-existent mid-range game (likely due to weakness #3)
    6. Since he can't play PG, he is a natural liability on the defensive end when he is forced to guard the opponents' 2 or 3
    7. Playoff choker
    8. Ball stopper (when he gets the ball and goes into that "triple threat" stance I usually gag, it's a joke because he is in no way a triple threat, rather a single threat)
    9. Very mediocre ball-handling skills, at best
    10. Average FT shooter (though he improved each season, not that it matters since he rarely gets to the line)

    Aaron Brooks

    Strengths:
    1. Has a PG body and can play PG
    2. Lightning quick
    3. Excellent ball-handling skills
    4. Large hands and long wingspan
    5. Solid 3pt shooter
    6. Likes to get to the basket and can beat his man off the dribble (needs to prove he can do it consistently at this level while finishing in, and over, traffic or getting to the line)
    7. Very good FT shooter
    8. Can create his own shot because of strengths #2 and #3

    Weaknesses:
    1. Small frame, easily outmuscled by opposing PGs at this point
    2. Questionable floor general, leadership skills (can he do what Alston does best?)
    3. Questionable ability to create for others (has made some brilliant passes but not often enough, gets caught in the air at times)
    4. Hasn't proven he belongs in the NBA yet

Please modify or add to this list as you see fit.

What you mean to say is you don't like me. Otherwise, why vote for Head.

    Understood and accepted.

Teams like Sacramento remain interested in Brooks. No (NBA) team is interested in Head.

You have a tap on Moreys phone? How else would you know this? And you say "TEAMS" (PLURAL) like Sac remain interested in Brooks. Name another team that is interested in Brooks right now. Hell for that matter show me some credible proof that Sac is still interested in Brooks. Bet you cant.

Its a rumor at least. Have we heard even a rumor about any team wanting Luther Head?

The Phoenix Suns were openly interested in Brooks and him work out with them before the draft. I heard they planned on taking him with their 29th pick.

I know Luther has disappeared two years in a row in the playoffs, but the guy is pretty good and still pretty young. Young people make mistakes and learn from them. Give him some credit. I'm confident that if he is on our team again next year he will improve his game. He is a hard worker and hard work always pays off, its as simple as that. Plus he makes great cuts which is what Adelman's system is all about. Once we start playing more of Adelman's system you guys are going to see how good luther really is. Just be patient and give him some time.

Rockets are so interested in Head that they actually paid for Head's service. Head > Brooks.

    24th pick > 26th pick. Head > Brooks.

New USA select team membership> old USA select team membership. Head > Brooks.

So far Brooks did nothing in NBA. Head was in top 5 three pointer shooters.
    Head > Brooks.

Head is a true SG. Brooks is a half SG. Head > Brooks.

Head had to play PG because Brooks sucked. Head >Brooks.

but in the end, Vspan > Head+Brooks.

The 2007 draft class was far stronger than that of 2005.

Head is not a true SG. He is an undersized, underskilled SG that is only clearly good at one thing: spot up 3s.

How many times have you seen Head drive to the basket? Answer: Very few.

And, when he does drive to the basket, I can't begin to recall the number of times he got swatted or tried to dish of a wild pass when he gets into trouble.

He is far from a true SG. He is a tweener. He has the body of a PG but the mentality of a SG.
