where were you the last few days? :D it's a shame you didn't come out to defend your man when he's slumping and you know it.

Used to be a mildly favorite play seeing Bonzi always trying to chuck the full court buzzer beaters.

Rafer shouldn't have ever got his job back. Brooks makes yao and tracy's job easier because the best threat is the triple threat. Rafer can't shoot nor finish. Tracy can pass but can't really drive right now. Brooks is the only guy on the entire team that can shoot from outside, penetrate and score inside and pass. The fact that he can get by anyone puts a lot of pressure on the opposing defense. It gives yao more room to operate and his end to end quickness is unmatched. See the sig

Williams sucks big time. That is why he is in the D-league. Stromile Swift took his PT.

brooks is defintely a scorer. adelman is telling him to be more aggressive and attack the basket every change he gets.

AB started playing bad when Rafer came back and took the starting spot back. The record with AB as a starter speaks for itself this year.

AB needs big minutes with the rock as a playmaker/scorer, because he impacts the game when he can blow by his man and set people up around the goal. That's something Rafer can't do.

Last night, when AB split the D for that Von Wafer 3, AB even got fouled on that play before the pass. He was held.

Rafer would probably play better off the bench with something to prove.

I disagree. The offense was balanced. That's why we won (and we had good D of course). Yao had plenty of opportunities and took advantage of them well. It's much better when the offense doesn't just look to force feed Yao without looking for high percentage shots elsewhere. The offense becomes predictable that way and Yao gets surrounded.

    Nice vid.

Brooks has very good shooting form and a pure release. He can also dribble and finish well with both hands.

If he learns to change speeds effectively and become a better decision maker, he has enough tools to overcome his lack of size.

In order for us to find out if he can make that jump, we will have to deal with some ups and downs.

Brooks would already be our starter if our team had been healthy all year. He's the most underrated player in the league right now.

he's been the starter on my NBA2k8 and 2k9 since last year and this one. For those that play the 2k series and know about the updating rating system, did you notice Brooks has been rated higher then Rafer after each game?

Brooks worked hard all the summer and all his hard work led him to this talk.

I'm all hype over him, guy has legit chance at starting PG but even better is to use him at the end of the game and mixed with Rafer Alston.

Look how he just scored 19 on Rondo who is considered to be one of the best PG defenders.

exactly.. i don't know why they run the high pnr with rafer and yao up at the top late in the game.. rafer hardly ever penetrates to the hoop coming off the screen anyway... i was screaming at the tv to just post yao and try to get him the ball
