Well, this aint your typical poll. I've been noticing some attitude from Aaron which I believe caused by not having a contract extension. Who do you think is your man here, DM or AB?
I don't have a problem with Morey not giving Brooks an extension, and I don't have a problem with Brooks being unhappy about it. So is "I don't care" the right answer, or is it "Both wrong"?
I challenge you to find one post of an AB lover claiming we should have/of given Brooks an extension, or anything even remotely similar to what you just said.

Ironically I just jumped over here from a debate on some hockey boards where someone said "your all idiots". Oh man.. Anyways, I don't really care. Brooks needs to suck it up and not let it affect him so much, he'll get a decent contract somewhere. Admittedly I am questioning Morey a lot more recently, though.
I think Morey's entire "No extensions" policy is part of what is creating the chemistry problems. Morey seems to be a very smart man, but his player management skills seem to be sorely lacking. DD
Grammatically speaking, if I were AM then I would be unhappy, regardless of the reason, with playing bench minutes - off the bench. If AB were being marketed would AB be receiving more run?
Agreed, I really wonder if his dealings with past players is coming back to haunt us with regards to getting players we want now.
No extension creating chemistry problems is a myth. If anything Brooks should be mad at, it's himself. Chemistry as the prime element for our suckage is also a myth. Our players don't stop knowing how to play with each other simply because Aaron Brooks isn't happy. I think the easiest way at this stage would be to trade Aaron Brooks. We aren't guaranteed to keep him, and he certainly looks unhappy off the bench (why he thinks he should get the starting job off Lowry I have no idea).
I think AB is doing okay, but I can seem his frustrations building up and it is getting to the point where it is quite annoying, just go out and earn your contract, injuries happen and if you show a lack of maturity or good judgment then you can kiss that extension from Houston good bye. All I know is that something needs to be done, this team is just not gelling and seems they lack any consistent fire power..frustrating times to say the least.
Im not really a fan of anyone on this team but honestly Brooks is the main guy who should have gotten paid, he's this teams best go-to player regardless of how efficient martin is or how good defensively lowry is without brooks last year we'd have a lottery pick for sure... Morey already overpaid for scola, lowry, miller and martin and can't even make the playoffs so now Morey's using his Money ball tactics to drop brooks stock by playing him off the bench to resign him cheaper this offseason. The main reason we a have worse record from last season is because brooks has been injured and now is struggling to get in sync and get a rhythm coming off the bench and coming out at the end of games. Brooks was inconsistent off the bench until they traded rafer that's when he blossomed being a full-time starter while having the offense run through him, now he's just jacking up shots because he knows he's not going to be on the floor long enough to get a rhythm, so to me he's still the same player just needs his role back from last year to be fully effective.
You can just see who has management experience and who doesn't....lol...man... That is the problem with the internet, it gives all the serfs a voice, almost equal to a King. :grin: DD
