Anyone know where to get tickets to see Wicked at a reasonable price? All sold out at Ticketmaster and they are quite pricey online. Craigslist is just a zoo with all the brokers posting, and e Bay only has a set for sale for the date I want (6/27).

When I saw Wicked, what we did was we got to the theater and wait in line to put our names down. The theater holds drawings an hour or two before the play starts, and the lucky winners could buy front-row tickets for $20. We didn't win, but we were offered corner seats (where you can't see the entire stage) for something like $35. We did that. However, this was at the Ford theater in Chicago. We did a similar thing for RENT in LA.

I don't know about Houston, but it'll def. help to call the theater and ask if they'll have tickets available on that day. You'll have to skip work/school, but you won't end up paying a lot for a ticket.

Good luck, it was a great musical :)

its gonna be hard to get some at a reasonable price. I got some for my girlfriend for 40 a piece and that was in the upper concourse. I had to buy them about 3 months in advance off of ticketmaster. the theater in san antonio is kinda small so there really isnt any bad seat in the house.

Do you have an American Express card? Sometimes AMEX buys blocks of tickets and sells them to their cardholders.

broadway.com says that the shows are sold out. The best thing to do for broadway shows is to buy tickets about 6 weeks ahead of time.

I should have mentioned that I am looking for Broadway tickets in NY for next weekend.

Last minute trip so i didn't have time to plan ahead. I will try to find more info on the lottery/drawing system in NY.
