Yes, I want JVG gone, but I would REALLY like to see this team coached by Rudy T....

He just seems to get more out of his players and is less of a micromanager than JVG.

I think Rudy was the wrong coach for Francis/Mobley in their early careers but the RIGHT coach for this team.

Let's take a page out of the Golden State playbook and bring back old glory.

    RUDY T baby !!!

    Who is with me?

Yes! Bring back Rudy T and groom Mario to take over by giving him an assistant job!

    Lakers brought back Phil Jackson.

    They have not done well.

Just proves that you still need health and depth.

No problem. Just hire a designated driver.

He just doesn't have the same loyalty for the Lakers as he has for the Rockets.

I think he would consider coming back.

Remember the Lakers thread with Rudy's "playbook"? While Rudy would be getting the best/untapped potential out of the collection of scrubs (outside of Yao/TMac), what the hell else would Rudy T bring??

This job has Rick Adelman's name all over it. Hell, I'd even keep Van Gundy and hire Adelman as offensive coordinator.

I never said he showed bad loyalty to the Lakers. but he ****** the Lakers over with health problems that should've been taken care of before he signed a big contract.

Rudy T loves the Lakers especially Rockets but his health problems are very well aware.

DaDak, man why would you wish Rudy interjecting into this "win now" mess.

CD is finally clear of this madness (mostly) and we need a young guy who's fearless to work with our non-personnel-proven GM.

JVG will be able to stay if he wants to, but I pray he's realized he's done the best we could and that someone else might be able to get more out of Yao's talents and not milk T-Mac's into complete tragedy.

wrong. Rudy T didn't get rid of Shaq.

    Chuck Atkins > Smush Parker

How the hell can you judge Rudy's work in only 3 months?

    He was a horrible coach.

do you know why Laker fans called him "Rudy 3"?

because he was obsessed with 3 pointers. the Lakers averaged atleast 20 pointers a game that year thanks to Rudy's approach but most importantly hes not a healthy guy.

Put Shaq with Rudy T and Kobe. That team would steamroll.
