Apparently Roy is preparing a comeback. Would we even be a possible landing point for him and do you think he can even hold up in the league? Please lock this if it's been discussed before or in the wrong spot. This is my first post :/ http://tracking.si.com/2012/06/16/brandon-roy-nba-portland-trailblazers-retirement/
His doctors basically said it's bone on bone at this point, right? Dude needs to stop before he ends up crippled for the rest of his life. Just enjoy your millions bro.
If there was ever a guy that deserved a second chance, it would be Brandon Roy. And if he's even half the player he was before his knee injuries really took him down, then he's well worth the chance. I would love to have him on this team.
I can not believe that he would even consider it. He is a very wealthy man heading straight for 2 titanium knees. He should enjoy the rest of his live. The NBA is not in his future.
You're right, it's probably not the best idea But I wouldn't mind it at all if the Rockets took a chance on him.
Even if Brandon Roy was a quarter as good as he was when he played Houston in the playoffs, he would still better than every player on this crappy non talented rockets team except dragic, and he might even leave
I would assume he would only come back for a contender. I still remember that game winner he hit against us after Yao hit a turn around and-one to give us the lead right before.
Id definitely want him on our team. However, id rather he stay healthy so unless he knows something we don't, he should stay retired
"and I have no idea how to do either, and likely have zero chance in both cases. Nevertheless, I have a "big" job and make lots of money."
