i'm not going, but i'll watch it on tv... i love boxing. houston bbs readers... do you know we have monthly boxing in houston? http://www.browningboxing.com next bouts coming up!
Yeah Manny looked great from the very beginning! Lots of other fighters were in town to see the fight as well. Michael Carbajal, Johnny Tapia, Marquez from H-town. Golden Boy jumped into the ring to give two thumbs up before the fight and the crowd went crazy! Jesse James Leija scored a 2nd round know-out in front of his home town crowd too! That was $25 bucks well spent!
I remember the first time I saw Manny was about two years ago -- it was in the De La Hoya vs some Spanish guy undercard. I was amazed, cause the dude totally does not look like a boxer, but the guy just BOMBS for his size...definitely one of my favorites.
If their is a rematch Barrera will knock his ass out. I've never seen Barrera fight like the way he did sat. He's alot more aggressive and tough. It has alot too do with the Boxing Commision making him get all those tests to his head, and him having to move his training camp 2 weeks before the fight from Cali to San Antonio due to the Forest Fire. He'll get his belt back.....
It was wierd to see Barrara get whooped like that. But you have to give Pacquiao credit, that boy was agressive and strong. Another great fight.
I don't want to see a rematch, Barerra will get his butt kicked again. Barerra looked like an old man out there. It was the Pac-Attack... constant. Pac has that Philipinno fighting style...aggressive and fast. Barerra couldn't keep up. On HBO, they didn't show any undercard fights, the replayed the Roy Jones Jr vs Tarver debacle...
