I'm looking at a MesaBoogie tube head with a Sunn))) cab. I got this crappy solid state Marshall combo amp, and it just aint gettin it done. I love the RC-20. I really don't want to get rid of it, but the wife thinks I already have a bunch of needless crap. She's right.
Good taste, man. If you're looking towards that route, you should look into old Ampeg or Sound City tube heads as well. There are still some good bargains on the interwebs b/c they don't have Marshall or Fender on the name plate.
