There is no way he slipped on a donut. Bonzi would have caught it and had it in his mouth before gravity even took effect.

Anyone think it is convenient that he is out the week before they can trade him?

Maybe there is something in the works and they don't want to risk an injury to the Bonz.

    I've been saying that earlier.

I am almost sure he's on his way out by the end of next week.

    Roughly.

I don't think we could get fair value for him through a trade.

    Who would we get?

That's what it says in ESPN, that he will be out atleast for a week because of lower back soreness. But after i've seen those early phoros in Htown with a couple of broad and some gig or party in which Bonzi is one of the guest, it made me think rightaway that he is out there somewhere patying!! Sure hope not!

    Go Rockets!

I seriously doubt Bonzi would know how and when to injure himself so pricisely that he would miss one week and the Rockets would be hard pressed to trade him. Don't think it's intentional.......hope he gets back soon, whenever he will.

Same thing I thought...either that or VangundyDoghousitis.

I wish we could get Andre Miller here and I wouldn't mind shipping Bonzi, Sura's contract, trade exception and whatever other picks Philly wants. I don't know the ins and outs of how a deal could work but it would be awsome to get that guys here. I don't think Philly really wants him.

The problem for trading Bonzi is what are you going to get? Probably a future 2nd round and a 12th man on the bench. And Bonzi has a big leverage for "yes" or "no" because of his player's option next year. Also, no teams will take on Bonzi except the contenders.

He's got a HUGE contract. What is it close to 9 million? That make Juwan look like a bargain....

I think he probably has a sore back, but just for fun, why couldn't we make 2 seperate trades with a team... one involving Bonzi, and one in which we use our TE? We could get back more than picks and a player making Bonzi's salary, in that case.

HOUSTON -- Rockets guard Kirk Snyder was back on the practice court Saturday afternoon running through individual shooting drills.

He's hoping that he won't be working out on his own much longer.

Snyder, who has been out since Nov. 21 with a broken right hand, is optimistic that he could be back in the lineup in "no more than two weeks."

The reserve guard was originally expected to miss eight to 10 weeks.

"I'm ahead of schedule so hopefully the doctor doesn't say anything else or I'll have to beat him up," Snyder joked after Saturday's workout. "I'm in good shape cardio-wise. I just have to get my hand back so that I can shoot."

Snyder suffered the injury on a drive to the basket against New York on Nov. 20.

After slashing to the middle of the lane, Snyder was leaping in the air when New York forward Jerome James slapped down on his hand. The guard immediately clutched his hand after the play and left the court.

He underwent surgery on the hand the following day in Houston.

Since undergoing surgery, Snyder has been working out with Houston's training staff and has resumed shooting. He still isn't catching the ball or participating in full-contact drills.

"I can't catch the ball right now because there are obviously some internal things that the doctors want to heal that I can't see," Snyder said. "I guess it takes a year for the bone to fully heal."

Wells out: Rockets guard Bonzi Wells is back in the trainer's room.

Wells, who has missed 19 games this season, is expected to miss about a week with a sore lower back.

"Next man up," Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy said. "That's all it is. It's what every team goes through."

This is whats on the Rockets website, I would make a thread but Clutch is being like Van Gundy by not giving rookies a chance.
