I saw it, and that was bizarre. Bonzi said something like he appreciated JVG forcing him to recognize that basketball was really important to him. That time away from the team made him realize how much he missed the game and the camaraderie. Said that JVG was a great coach. He also said JVG was showing him a few ways to try and get more shots

He also said that a big reason that he came to Houston was because of Yao Ming. Said he hadn't played with a great center since Sabonis in Portland, although Sabonis was at the end of his career.

 

cool, 1 week or so ahead (7wks 3 days total time out) of the conservative estimate of 8 wks.

 

i don't get this reaction at all

 

Thanks for the recap Mack, maybe there is a future with Bonzi and the Rockets afterall. I really really hope things between JVG and Bonzi will
work out okay. We need a good Bonzi for us to do well in the playoffs.

 

I doubt this is more than just typical ass kissing. But I'll be happy if I am wrong.

 

I guess Christmas came early for JVG, and thanksgiving was late for Bonzi.

 

he said "I guess it's true that people like leaders to put their butts in line" so...................I became the "leader or Parent" telling him to do his homework...ie putting him in line.

 

So from "All right" two days before to "I'm lovin it!"

 

This is great to read because if bonzi and jvg are on the same page and we are healthy the sky will be the limit

 

I agree, please youtube it someone. This needs to be seen to be believed. Of course, winning makes everything easier.

 

Bonzi hates JVG. It's brownnosing, plain and simple. He didn't come here to ride pine.
