Actually, you are incorrect. He said that he didn't know what was in the bottles... just that he was told they were flaxseed oil and rubbing balm. Thus, he has only admitted to using flaxseed oil and rubbing balm. No one knows what was in those bottles except for his trainer Greg Anderson... and Anderson says he never gave Bonds the 'cream' or the 'clear'.
Hmmmm.... I wonder why Anderson said he never gave Bonds the cream or the clear Obviously Bonds hasnt been caught, but no ones body has changed as much as his over his career. It's absurd how much bigger he is. I don't think Bonds helped himself out either, by being an a-hole to the media throughout his career.
How many articles do I need to post? http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1937594&CMP=OTC-DT9705204233 "Barry Bonds testified to a grand jury that he used a clear substance and a cream given to him by a trainer who was indicted in a steroid-distribution ring, but said he didn't know they were steroids, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Friday." Still in denial? Should I get more evidence?
What's your take on this: http://www.blackcommentator.com/122/122_major_league_baseball.html Josh Gibson hit over 900 HR in the negro leagues? Didn't know that... What I don't understand is, if the article is correct, why haven't black pitchers dominated MLB since baseball was integrated?
Anderson has admitted to giving other players steroids, some who are still active... so why wouldn't he admit it for Bonds too? if he did give it to him? Shaq came in to the league at 295... now he's 340. Bonds came in a 195... he's 225 now. Shaq was thin and lean during the 95' Finals run... and look at him now. I already know people will say Shaq is fat. But, Bonds said he was fat himself... and about how its hard for him to keep the pounds off because of his age.
HAY GUYZ SHACK IZ FATTR AND BONZ IS FAT TOO SO FAT EKWALZ BETAR M I RITE!!11!!!!1!1 ... For another relevant comparison please consider the following...
Again, Bonds only admitted to using flaxseed oil and rubbing balm that the prosecution was insisting was the "clear" and "cream". Again, nobody knows what was in those bottles except for Anderson... who has stated that he's given the 'cream' and 'clear' to other players before, but had not yet with Bonds.
Instead of making jokes... explain why it isn't a relevant comparison? Shaq's size has increased dramatically with age... the same thing that's happening with Bonds, and supposedly the "proof" hes on steroids.
Bonds is also how old? He's getting fat and slow from old age, Shaq added more weight to become even more unstoppable in the low block in the prime of his career. I don't see how that comparison is relevant to anything at all.
That quite possibly could be the dumbest thing I've read in the 7 years I have been visiting this board. And I have read alot of dumb things. I'm not even going to bother attempting to debunk it.
Looking at pictures... Ruth was thin and cut when he came into the league... He was way bigger and slower when he was hitting his 60 HRs. Lets put an * next to Ruth's 714. It's obvious he was on some sort of performance enhancing drug.
I wasn't aware that performance enhancing drugs made your waistline explode to 60 inches while maintaining the same pudgy, pathetic upper body.
That's silly. Why don't we just throw out all of history that we don't have on video. I guess I'll never make the arguement that Napolean was a great general and military strategist, because I never saw actual footage of him on tv. You want to know who originally hyped the Yankees and gave them that mystique and myth? Name me a famous Yankee player before Ruth without going and looking it up. Ruth hit more home runs in some of his seasons than entire other teams. Barry can't claim that. By accounts from that era, Ruth was almost as amazing a pitcher as he was a batter. I can only imagine Bonds' reaction if he was asked to pitch a game. When Ruth passed the home run leader of his time, the record was held by Roger Connor at 138. Ruth would go on to obliterae that record. Bonds won't come anywhere near hitting double the home runs of the current leader, much less 5x the number. Ruth obviously didn't have the advantage of steroids or the wide array of supplements that players have available today. Not only that, but baseball players at that time didn't even lift weights. Ruth's career batting average was 40 points higher than Bonds, and had nearly double as many triples. Bonds will have a statistically significant higher number of at bats than Ruth when all is said and done.
Because people are saying that Bonds got bigger due to drugs, and his increased muscle mass due to the drugs are what causes him to hit HRs. Shaq like you said added almost 50lbs to become stronger and more unstoppable in the post. Yet no one questions Shaq... even though he added 50lbs. But, they question Bonds who added 30lbs.
Do you really believe what you are saying? Shaq, although much leaner when he first came, was still a very big man. Are you denying that? He had a huge frame, broad shoulders, but was just physically in shape. He just filled out with age and put on fat. Barry was a f*cking stick. He is now the most physically imposing specimen in the batting box in all of baseball.
