Our old buddy is back in the league. I wonder if this seasoned veteran still moves like a gazelle? We will have to wait and see.

    Signed,

    Clyde The Glide Drexler

Bobcats sign Juwan Howard, waive Dwayne Jones

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP)—The Charlotte Bobcats have signed Juwan Howard three days after reaching an agreement with the veteran forward.

The move on Friday comes as new Bobcats Boris Diaw, Raja Bell and Sean Singletary reported to the team for physicals. They were acquired Wednesday in a trade that sent top scorer Jason Richardson and forward Jared Dudley to Phoenix.

The Bobcats waived little-used forward Dwayne Jones to make room on the roster for the four new players.

Howard had been without a job since being released by Denver after the Allen Iverson trade last month. A former All-Star in his 15th season, Howard’s numbers have declined in the past few seasons.

He averaged 1.1 points in 50 games with Dallas last season.

What happens when you bring a curse upon a team that's already cursed?

Charlotte is trying to fight fire with fire

Is it possible to fail a physical due to a herpes outbreak?

Hahaha that made me lol. Isn't he the last one left from that cursed Michigan team?...

I'll tell you what though. All 3 of toughs big names on the "Fab Five" (Webber, Howard, Rose) feel pretty lucky because they all got max deals.

I know when the T. Wolves let him go he said he wanted to play for a winner. I think right now he'll go any where he can get a job.

Yep... good locker room guy, loyal to the coach (loved by Bzdelik, Van Gundy, George Karl), good cheap vet to pick up for the bench. They can use one of those with Jason Richardson leaving for PHX.

Beside, it's not exactly like Sean May, Ryan Hollins, and the other guys currently playing the PF/C minutes are extremely productive. Juwan don't have much game left, but he fits their needs. Not like Tim Duncan (or Carl Landry) is available to be signed.
