I think Bobby Jackson is clearly someone the Rockets should consider. I like Mike James better because I think he is more durable and he has played in our system, but if we couldnt get James, I would seriously consider someone like Jackson.

Ditto...if the Rox don't otherwise address the backcourt.

I like his game but he's another injury-prone old guy. Not the direction we need to go IMO.

Why get Jackson if we can just get Diaz?

Mike James is not only better but also much, much more durable than Jackson.

MJ is the most talent you can sign for the MLE. his #'s are EXACTLY those of mike bibby.

bobby jackson would have been perfect about 4 years ago. no need to pay a guy who will spend half the season on the reserved list.

COME ON PEOPLE THIS THREAD IS BENEATH US.....EXAMPLE A: THE MAVS....YOUNG QUICK AND TALENTED......WE MIGHT WANT TO START LEANING THAT WAY TO RIGHT......AND BOBBY J IS TALENTED BUT NOT YOUNG.....HE'S ALSO MR. GLASS WHEN IT COME S TO INJURIES

I CAN SEE IT NOW....HIM AND T-MAC HAVING A FASHION SHOW ON THE SIDELINES FOR GQ AND US ON THIS BOARD COMPLAININ ABOUT OUR 11-25 RECORD AND THAT THE TEAM IS 8-0 WITH BOBBY AND T-MAC IN THE LINE -UP

I don't think we need an injury prone player plus he hasn't had his best season in a long time. I think the Rockets offseason is going to be very simple. Our team last year was considered a top team. We should keep the regulars in the team, like
    Rafer
    T-mac
Wesley(Sign Him, great veteran shooter is hard to come)
    Jho
    Yao
    Stro
    Head
    Bogans
    Hayes

Everyone else should get a kick in the butt.

3 spots left and they should be filled with Mike James (MLE), a long SG that can play D and make shots(kinda wesley just taller)(Draft or use TE), a long, rebounding PF( use TE or Draft).

After that look at our lineup

    PG: Alston/Mike James
    SG: Brewer/D.Wesley/Head/Novak
    SF: Tracy Mcgrady/Bogans/Novak(maybe)
    PF: J.Howard/Stromile/Hayes/Trade exception player
    C: Yao Ming

Thats a deep team with height. We can go small, we can go big and all the players above can be acquire. We added

Mike James (pg) can easily put up points.
Ronnie Brewer (SG) plays D and is not a bad shooter
Novak (G/F) back up for T-mac
PF with TE( maybe CATO) rebounding PF

    Get it done CD. Please
