Phoned to find out how the bobblehead dolls were gonna be given away and this is the response i recieved No matter how many tickets you have you get 1 doll per entry and I find this not fair for the people who have 2 tickets also the bobble head dolls will be given out as you walk in door and not like the passing out a slip of paper routine they did with hakeems doll. So here is my suggestion for those who have two tickets or more Get your doll leave the compaq center run back to your car and then return back to the entrance with your other ticket and get your other doll I asked her if this was ok and she said she could not make a comment on that particular idea So my guess is yes. Anyhow great contest I found it cool that two members from clutchcity.net were chosen hmmmmmmmm wonder what second place gets
Damn maybe I shouldnt have said 5:30. Now I will really have to try get their that early. Maybe all of us can meet before the game somewhere when we are waiting in line or something.
I'll be there...rockHEAD is wanting to show up at 5 to stand in bobblehead line! BTW I'd say if you guys wanna meet, we could hang around the same place as last time, at the stairs that go down & out in the middle of the foodcourt. Just hold your bobblehead up and we'll find you!
alright guys... bgm and me will have our super cool afros on so i doubt you'll be about to miss us. i also made a super cool "go rockets" shirt last night,(i hope my dad doesnt miss his white undershirt i had to steal) but i accidently ironed on some of the letters backwards... oh well just more original. we'll be there around 5:30, and im not sure where our seats are, but its not like we stay in them for long=) i love buying cheap tickets and moving to WAY better seats.
i'll probably get screwed tonight, but you guys do realize that the game starts at 7:30 and 5,000 fans is only a little less than what they normally average. If more than 1,000 fans have shown up by 5:50 I'll be shocked. We're getting there at 6. Also, I dont understand what one bobblehead per entry means. Essentially, every person that enters the arena form 5,000 down with a ticket gets a bobblehead correct?
say you're right JayZ, it doesnt matter. its fun standing/sitting in line and getting to know other super cool rockets fans that would get there as early as you did. =) i hope its not hot this afternoon, those afros are not heat friendly.

They open the doors to The Summit at 6, and I bet it wont be long after that before the bobble heads are gone.
I was surprised by how late people came in and still got bobble head dolls. I had fun by showing up early and I even ran into BGM and DM with their 'fros. I thought I had a deal with my friends I took to the game to give me their bobble heads (I paid for their tickets), but they changed their minds once they got to the game. Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for one Francis bobble head and a fantastic Rockets victory. B
I met DM as well and saw BGM. I think part of what led to the low early turnout was the freakin' monsoon outside the Compaq Center. It was cold and rainin' like a mutha!
