Bob Sura is probably my fav Rockets guard after the Francis/Mobley what happend to the guy? I thought he was a good player, I know he had a back and knee surgery so where is he at right now?

I have seen him near courtside at more than a handful of Rockets games. Usually accompanied with a chick, he is usually wearing a dress shirt with ripped up jeans too. Like he plans to go out after the game. He is always in a different spot, so he doesn't have season tickets. Thats all the detective work I got for ya.
I saw him walking into Toyota Center last season. I was sitting near the Hakeem Sculpture (before it was there) when he walked by. He was with three other dudes, which sucks, cause usually has hot eye candy with him. Does he still live in the Houston area?

I saw him a month or two ago at Lifetime Fitness in Sugar Land. We told him to come back he said his back problems won't let him.
Sura is a Rocket Legend, there will never be another Sura.. a guy that plays half a season for a team yet gave so much heart that he was immortalized, he is a Rocket Legend that can't be replicated.
Sura is a Rocket legend because he was the only one on that team in those years with the balls to put a "DUDE" on his back when he tried to punk Yao. He also mixed it up when they tried to foul T-Mac hard too.

Sura was an average NBA player. Anybody who is infatuated with him is either a female who thinks he's hot or a guy who is unaware of his latent homosexuality. He played less than one season in Houston and his numbers were totally unimpressive. Sure, he hustled and showed heart on the court. So does Chuck Hayes. Few people, other than HayesFan, talk about Hayes and he is still a part of this team. Sura fans are gay.
