    Hist grandson said he was still telling jokes up to the last minute. He was asked by his family, "Where do you want to be buried?" Answer:

    "Surprise me."

    The only good memory my granddad had about his 14 months in Korea was when he saw Bob Hope and the USO show. He started the show something like:

    "It's great to be here in [Pusan/Inchon/can't remember], this sure is a beautiful place. [Looks over shoulder & speaks to someone behind him] Keep the car running."

    great man totally, but he's parents are from UK and he was born there. Moved to the states at age of four.
