Yao is the Franchise? Then Yao should have stepped up and had a great game against Potapenko, James, Booth or who ever the Sonics had, but how did Yao ( da franchise) do? 2-8 and 1 rebound. 1 rebound, thats all. Yao is not ready to lead this team and therefore he should not be inside clogging the paint for steve to penetrate since he obvioulsly can't shoot. Yao should only be in the paint to rebound and block shots, oh wait, he does niether of the two. Yao has to stay outside and hit that 15foot jumper and thats all. Yao is way to weak to play inside. This team doesn't fit together, Yao is a joke, steve has no brain, cat is garbage, JJ is selfish, and Cato is embarrasing. This team needs to be blown up and JVG should go with them. This team is boring to watch and I am tired of idiots wanting Yao to lead this team when he sucks as much as francis.
Not only could Yao not score against the top contender for defensive player of the year in Potapenko he also could not guard him as Potapenko lit Yao up for his season high in points. I can't wait to see where this guy leads the Rockets to.
One last thing. Fire Dawson. We should steal one more thing from the Knicks and thier fans since we seem to be taking coaches and players from them. We should take the Fire Chant from them. The chant of "Fi-re-Daw-son " should be heard at every Rockets home game from now on.
We think we have 2 franchise players. One that thinks he can control a game, but currently can't. Hello Steve. One that can't control a game and definitely should be able to. Hello Yao. At the moment, all we actually have are 2 pretenders to the throne that Hakeem abdicated. Somebody needs to step up.
Francis 4 for 18 Mobley 3 for 11 meanwhile our 53% shooter (Yao) gets 9 whole shots, why? Francis has to go, no doubt.

Man, you clearly dont know how to analyze a basketball team. Yao didn't have a great game because he was double teamed all day long, but I guess you forgot about that. Just to remind you, it's very hard to score when two defenders are playing one guy. Yao's supporting cast had many open looks because of him and they missed many of those open looks. If you think Yao can't lead this team now...well, your watching the wrong game and must like mediocre results.
ok let me just be the second person, ahmed, to point out to you that yao had 5 rebounds. he blocked 2 shots tonight. he only had 10 touches tonight. he should have had 15 at least if there is one person on this team who should be allowed to continue getting touches even if he gets off to a bad start it is Yao Ming. Yao Ming sucks as much as Francis? Was this your first rockets game that you watched this season? Hi. we "idiots" are all rockets fans...most of us live in houston... the basketball team in houston is named the houston rockets. This season a certain Yao Ming , a center, leads our team in points per game, field goal percentages and does this all while coming in as 3rd in touches behind francis and mobley.
o ya. I checked our record today, and the rockets are 34 and 25, and bound for the playoffs. Just a statement to think over...
DaDakota, I stumbled on one of your posts the other day, I don't recall which thread, but, in so many words you said that you had never called for Francis to be traded. I was shocked, because I remember a thread that you started a few weeks which said that very thing. Are you O.K. or was this a case of a missing "rolled eyes" smiley face?
I am willing to put money that amed disappears for, shall we say a long stretch the next time Yao has a big game.
