Bloomberg in 08?

    i don't know that much about him but i generally like him.

    he's a fine administrator and runs NYC the same way he runs a corporation, which has good and and bad points.

    Positives: We seem to be more efficient, and I don't get the sense the city gov't spending is out of control under Bloomberg.

    Negatives: He has a WELL DESERVED and HARD EARNED aura of aloofness when it comes to interacting with the everyday person. OUT OF TOUCH would be a compliment to his perception of how non billionaries live everyday.

    Bloomberg as an independent = Ross Perot. Clinton is going to win the Democratic nomination. If Jeb Bush will throw his hat in the ring, we can have 1992 all over again.

    Seriously, while Bloomberg will never be president and I wouldn't support him, he is much more legitimate than Ross Perot. Right now, Jeb Bush is dogmeat because of pathetic W.
