Minnesota crushing Charlotte 50-33. With a win, the Rockets would fall behind by 4.5 games. Minnesota is not going to miss the playoffs, lets face it. They win just enough to get the 8th seed, and die off in the playoffs. I hate those howling GITS. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death." Stay on target Turn. Dallas has a harder schedule than Minnesota. ------------------ I'd rather be boinking my wife.
I'm just wondering when they're ever going to lose! Now Achebe, if you could decipher your message, I'd really appreciate it. Dallas is 14 games above .500, and is far more talented than the T-Wolves. Why would they drop out? ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
While Minnesota would move 4.5 games up on the Rockets with a win, they would also move a half game ahead of the Suns, who would then be in the 8th slot only 4 games ahead of the Rockets. We lose no ground overall tonight unless Pheonix wins, and they are at Denver. ------------------ The Rockets will be the NBA champions. Believe. We need to catch Phoenix. That is the Rocket's last hope. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
The wolves are pissing me off. Laphonso Ellis is hitting fadeaway rainbow jumpers. I think the Hornets can come back though. ------------------
ZRB, Minnesota hasn't lost lately cause they've been playing teams like the Pistons, Warriors, Sonics, and Hornets! Teams they should beat! The Rockets imho will take Minnesota's place in the playoffs because of their closing schedule. They play the Blazers twice, Lakers twice, Kings, Jazz, Rockets, Mavs, Suns, and more. It is a BRUTAL closing schedule. Minnesota is doing nothing but beating a few average to below average teams. Nothing special whatsoever. ------------------ "We're not settling for just getting in the playoffs." "We want a higher seed. There's no doubt. It's funny cause the Wolves fans are sure since the T-pups SEEM to be hot lately, they'll get a higher seed. Yeah. Those are the same fans who predicted they would sweep us. ------------------ Watch Cat's Corner every Sunday night on Fox 26 news at 9! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROCKETS!

Its over damnit. Hopefully Denver will be able to crush Phoenix. Can't count on the Nugs to do anything to help the rockets though. ------------------
Game over. Minnesota wins 95-89 ------------------ The season's halfway over...and I still need that keg of Pepto-Bismol.
I think the Rocks actually have a better chance to pass Phoenix. The main thing is that the Rocks are 1-1 against Phoenix with 2 games head to head left. Where as they are 1-2 against Minnesota and cannot get the tiebreaker due to suckass conference record. Phoenix has just as tough a schedule as Minn. So, for tonight, go Nugz (who are self destructing this last week). ------------------ When I die, I want to be reincarnated as that chair in the Britney Spears video.
I think the Rockets need to set their sites on Phoenix also. The Wolves 4.5 game lead might as well be a 5.5 lead because they would hold the tie breaker I believe, even if the Rockets win the last meeting. With only 22 games left, it's going to be tough who ever the Rockets have to catch. They can't afford any slip-ups like the other night. I have a feeling games like the Dallas loss are going to end up biting the Rockets in the butt by the end of the season. ------------------
31-21 Suns in the second. God, don't let it be a double dip. It would really hurt if both Phoenix and Minnie won. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
The Nugz are w/o Van exel and Mcdyess and the Suns have Marion back I think I said it a few games ago and it worked, so here goes This smells like an upset of biblical proportions!!!!!!!!! ------------------ "GiddyUP!!!" Krammer from Seinfeld
