If you are sending messages to other blackberry users just use Pin to Pin.
That does not use SMS. Just get the other persons PIN number from the blackberry and send to that instead of the phone number.

 

anyone know of any free im programs from palm treo 700wx?

 

i have palm 700p and use toccer...not sure if its compatible...but its free on 700p

Agile messenger works great for Windows Mobile.
I used it on my windows mobile phone. When I downloaded it it was free, I am not sure about now but here is the site: http://www.agilemobile.com/download.html

 

From what I see Toccer is for PalmOS (600, 650, 700p) - it wont work on Treo's that run on Windows Mobile.

 

BlackBerry Messenger is the best program to use if you know a lot of people who have BlackBerries because it is free.

I use aim_102 on my 700 wx. Works like a charm. Look it up on google.

RIM just released its official AIM client, but as of right now it only works with Sprint/Nextel.

I just got a Pearl and was wondering if I would be able to use email/internet if I added the $5.99 T-mobile data plan, or would I have to get the $20 plan from Blackberry??
